A static shot feels observational. A slow push-in directs attention. An orbit adds dimensionality and often feels more cinematic.

Understand

Camera movement tells the video model how the virtual camera should travel through the scene. Start with one clear motion per short shot.

Start with six useful movements

Push in
Move closer to the subject
Pull out
Reveal more of the scene
Pan / Tilt
Rotate horizontally or vertically
Orbit / Tracking
Move around or alongside the subject

Notice that the prompt asks for one clear camera movement. Short shots are easier to control when the direction is unambiguous.

Common mistake

Avoid stacking several camera movements into one short shot.

Instead of “push in, orbit, tilt up and pull back,” begin with “slow push-in toward the subject.”

Create three versions of the same scene: static, slow push-in, and slow orbit. Compare how each changes attention and mood.
