A short shot has fewer moving parts than a complete sequence. Define the subject, action, environment and camera behavior for one shot first.
After individual shots work, editing is where you assemble rhythm, continuity and story.
Example
Instead of “make a 30-second shoe commercial,” plan: hero shot → detail shot → movement shot → closing product shot.
